Who we are
Talk Digital operates this pilot and is responsible for the information you submit. For any privacy question, request or complaint, email thomas@talkdigital.com.au.
What we collect
If you ask for help (Find AI help form): your name, email address, business name (optional), business type, a description of what you need help with, software you already use (optional) and your approximate budget.
If you apply as a specialist: whether you are applying as an individual or a business, your name and email address, business name and the name of the person who would do the work (businesses only), city or region, country and time zone, your experience, industries, services and tools, your hourly rate, one project example, any links you choose to give us (website, Google Business Profile or LinkedIn) and an optional profile photo or logo.
We store the links you give us. We do not visit, copy or collect information from those pages automatically.
Technical information: see cookies and technical information below.
Please do not send
- confidential information about your clients or their customers
- passwords, access keys or other login details
- sensitive personal information, such as health, financial account, racial, religious or political details
If you send something like this by mistake, email thomas@talkdigital.com.au and we will delete it.
How we use your information
- to read and respond to enquiries from businesses
- to assess applications from specialists
- to contact you about your enquiry or application, including asking for more details
- to manually arrange possible introductions between businesses and specialists
- to limit repeated or automated form submissions
We do not use your submission to send you marketing, and applying or enquiring does not sign you up to any mailing list. The site does not send automatic emails.
No public profiles
Submitting an application does not publish your details or image anywhere. Approval of an application does not create a public profile either. Your photo or logo is kept in private storage and is not shown on this website.
When we share your information
Before introducing a business and a specialist, we ask each of you for permission to share the relevant details with the other. We only share what is needed for the introduction.
We do not sell your information. Apart from introductions you agree to, your information is handled by the service providers that run this website, described below, and we may disclose it if the law requires us to.
If you agree to work together after an introduction, the scope, price, payment and delivery are agreed directly between the business and the specialist. This pilot does not process payments.
Internal review records
When we review a submission, we may add internal notes and change its review status (for example, reviewing, approved or declined). Each note and status change records which admin made it and when. These records are only visible to admins. They are not shown to you or anyone else through the website, and approving an application does not publish a profile or send any message. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, including these notes.
Signing in
You need to sign in to send a consultation request to a specialist, to use the specialist workspace, or to run the pilot. You do not need an account to browse specialists, ask Talk Digital for help or apply as a specialist. If someone signs in, we store their email address, when the account was created and last used, and the technical records our backend needs to keep them signed in. Sign-in emails with a one-time link or code are sent through Lovable's email service, and a sign-in code is kept in the browser until the person signs out. An account on its own gives no access to anyone else's information.
Specialist accounts and profiles
- If you applied as a specialist and sign in with the same confirmed email address, your account is connected to that application. If more than one application uses your email, we check them by hand before connecting anything. Connecting an account does not approve your application.
- You can see a read-only copy of your application and its review status. You cannot see internal notes.
- You can keep a private profile draft, started from your application: display name, introduction, how you work, location, time zone, industries, services, tools, hourly rate, a project example, optional links and an optional photo or logo. Drafts and uploaded profile images are stored privately and only you and admins can see them.
- When you submit your profile for review, we keep an unchanged copy of that version, the date and time you gave the display agreement, the wording version and the exact fields it covers, and our review decision, the reviewer and any feedback we send you.
- Approving a profile does not publish it. Talk Digital may separately publish an approved version in the public specialist directory, and only if you gave the display agreement for that exact version. Only the fields that agreement lists are shown. Later edits stay private until they are reviewed and published again. Your email address, time zone, application and internal notes are never public. The agreement is not consent to marketing; you can withdraw it by emailing us and we will unpublish your profile.
Public specialist directory
- Published profiles can be seen by anyone. A published photo or logo is a separate copy served by this website; it is removed when the profile is unpublished. Browsers and our hosting network may keep a cached copy of a published image for up to 5 minutes after that.
- During the pilot, the website asks search engines not to list its pages.
- A profile may include a "View Google reviews" link, but only if the specialist added their Google Business Profile link and agreed to show it. This website does not load, copy or show anything from Google; Google's own terms apply once you open the link.
- TalkAI does not collect reviews yet. Reviews will only be possible after paid, completed work through TalkAI, which is not available during the pilot. When reviews are shown, they include the rating, any review text and a short reviewer name (for example a first name and initial), never an email address or request details.
Consultation requests
- When you request a free 15-minute consultation, we store your name, the email address you signed in with, your business name (optional), what you need help with, what a good result would look like, software you use (optional), your preferred timing, any timing notes (optional), your time zone, your budget range, the specialist you chose, the hourly rate their profile showed at that time (for any paid work afterwards), a request reference, the consultation time and video call link (for example Zoom) once Talk Digital confirms it, and each status change (including a cancellation by you) with who made it and when.
- This information is shared with the specialist you chose and with Talk Digital, so they can consider your request and contact you. It is not shared with other specialists. You can see your own requests under My requests.
- What you type is kept only in the open page while you sign in, not saved in your browser's storage. No emails are sent automatically and no payment details are collected. Requests to profiles marked as demo are checked and then discarded, never stored.
Where your information is stored
- This website is built and hosted with Lovable. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare's global network, so your request and the information you submit may pass through servers in other countries on the way.
- Form submissions, uploaded images, internal review records and sign-in accounts are stored in Lovable Cloud, Lovable's backend service. The database and file storage for this site are located in France, in the European Union.
- Lovable and Cloudflare use their own providers to run their services, which may process information in other countries.
This means your information is stored and processed outside Australia. We have not confirmed every location where our providers may process it.
Who can see your information
- Talk Digital staff who run the pilot. They review submissions in a private admin area of this website, which only opens for a signed-in account with a confirmed email address that has been given admin access. They can also use the private backend for this website, which requires edit access to the project.
- Our service providers (Lovable and its infrastructure providers) where needed to run, secure and support their services.
Submissions cannot be read through the public website, and there is no public way to view uploaded images. No online system is completely secure, but we limit access to the people and services that need it.
Cookies and technical information
- Security cookie: when you load a page, this site sets a cookie containing a random code. It lasts up to 7 days, contains no personal details and is used only to limit repeated form submissions.
- Submission limits: when you submit a form, we create a scrambled code from your network address (or from the security cookie) so we can limit repeated submissions. We do not store your network address itself in our database. These codes are cleared out once they are more than a day old, which happens automatically when later forms are submitted.
- Platform statistics: Lovable adds its own scripts to the live website. They collect usage statistics, such as pages viewed, the website that referred you, browser and device type and page loading speed, and send technical error reports. They may store a short-lived visit code in your browser. When we checked the site on 24 October 2026, session recording was not switched on.
- Bot protection: Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie to help tell people and automated traffic apart.
- Fonts: the fonts are served by this website itself, so loading a page does not connect your browser to a separate font provider.
- Logs: our hosting and backend providers keep technical logs of requests, such as the time, page requested and error details, which may include your network address. Our own server messages do not record what you type into the forms.
Your browser may keep what you type in a form while the page is open. The site does not save your form entries in your browser's storage.
How long we keep information
We have not yet set a fixed retention period for pilot submissions, and there is no automatic deletion of enquiries, applications or images at this stage. We keep them while we assess them and arrange possible introductions. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Access, correction and deletion
To ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email thomas@talkdigital.com.au from the address you used when you submitted the form, or tell us how we can confirm it is you. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we have handled your information, email thomas@talkdigital.com.au. We will look into it and reply to you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this notice as the pilot changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
